Welcome to Keen On Green Disposal Inc.. By booking any service with us—whether online, by phone, by email, or in person—you agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined below. Please read this document carefully, as it describes your rights and obligations when using our junk removal and related services.

1. Definitions

“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Keen On Green Disposal Inc., operating in Vancouver and Burnaby, BC.
“Customer,” “you,” or “your” refers to the person or business using our services.
“Services” refers to junk removal, hauling, disposal, recycling, donation, labour-only services, and any additional services we provide.

2. Service Eligibility

By booking our services, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old.
You have the legal authority to enter into a contract for junk removal at the service location.
You have ownership rights or full permission from the property owner to remove items.

3. Service Quotes & Pricing

All quotes are estimates only until our team arrives and inspects the items.
Final pricing is based on:
- Volume of items removed
- Weight, labour, accessibility, and loading time
- Additional fees (stairs, long carry, heavy items, special disposal, etc.)
You agree to the final confirmed price before any work begins.
Prices do not include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the scope of work changes or does not match the initial description.

4. Booking, Arrival Windows & Cancellations

Appointments are assigned an arrival window, not an exact time.
Weather, traffic, and job duration may affect arrival times.
Cancellations or rescheduling require at least 24 hours’ notice.
Same-day cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.

5. Access to Property

You agree to:

Provide safe and reasonable access to the items to be removed.
Ensure that driveways, hallways, entrances, and work areas are clear.
Notify us in advance of any hazards or restrictions (e.g., elevators, construction, limited parking).

If the crew cannot safely access the property, additional fees may apply or the job may be cancelled.

6. Restricted & Hazardous Items

We do not remove or dispose of:

Hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals, gasoline, oil, paint thinner)
Biohazards (e.g., feces, needles, medical waste)
Explosives, weapons, or flammable liquids
Asbestos, mold-infested materials, or materials requiring specialized handling
Perishable food waste in large quantities

If hazardous materials are discovered during the job, work will stop immediately and additional charges may apply.

7. Heavy, Oversized, or Difficult Items

Some items may require additional labour or equipment, such as:

Pianos
Safes
Hot tubs
Large appliances
Concrete, bricks, soil, and renovation debris
Items located in difficult areas (attics, crawl spaces, steep slopes)

Extra fees will be discussed and confirmed prior to removal.

8. Damage Waiver & Liability

We always work carefully, but junk removal involves moving large and heavy items.
By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that:

8.1 Property Damage

We are not liable for damages to floors, walls, driveways, landscapes, or other property when items are stuck, structurally unsound, or require special maneuvering.
You accept the risk of minor damage if items must be disassembled, cut, or forced through tight spaces.

8.2 Item Ownership

Once items are removed, they become the property of Keen On Green Disposal Inc.
Items may be donated, recycled, repurposed, or disposed of at our discretion.

8.3 Safety

Our team may refuse to remove items if the environment is unsafe or unsanitary.

9. Payment Terms

Full payment is due immediately upon job completion.
Accepted payment methods include:
- Cash
- Credit/debit card
- E-transfer
- Business invoice (upon approval)

Late payments for invoiced clients may incur interest charges.

10. No Illegal Dumping

We follow all Metro Vancouver and BC environmental disposal laws.
We do not participate in illegal dumping. All disposal fees are included in the final price.

11. Donation Requests

We do our best to donate usable items; however:

Donation is not guaranteed.
Decisions are based on condition, demand, and donation centre acceptance.

12. Labour-Only Services

If you hire us for labour-only:

We are not responsible for any damages caused by customer-provided vehicles, equipment, or disposal sites.
You assume full responsibility for transportation and final disposal.

13. Insurance

Keen On Green Disposal Inc. carries:

Commercial liability insurance
Workers’ compensation (WorkSafeBC-compliant)

Insurance documents can be provided upon request.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by BC law:

Our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for the service that caused the claim.
We are not liable for lost valuables, missing items, indirect damages, or consequential losses.

15. Privacy Policy

We collect only the personal information necessary to:

Provide services
Process payments
Communicate scheduling or changes

We do not sell or share customer data.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Changes take effect immediately when posted on our website.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia.
